Dr. Anna Song Beeber is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing. She earned her BSN from Hartwick College and her MSN and PhD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Dr. Beeber completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing, funded by the NINR Healthcare Quality and Patient Outcomes T32 (NR08856) Post-Doctoral Fellowship and the John A. Hartford Foundation Building Academic Geriatric Nursing Capacity Fellowship program. Using both qualitative and quantitative methods, Dr. Beeber’s currently has a Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women’s Health Institutional K12 award aimed at the evaluation and implementation of dementia care best practices in the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. Dr. Beeber's long-term career goal of becoming an independent researcher working with multidisciplinary teams to better assess the needs of older dementia patients and their caregivers, and to prevent or delay nursing home placement by improving dementia care.
