Brief Bio

Jennifer Craft Morgan is the Associate Director for Research and a Research Scientist at the UNC Institute on Aging. She is currently the Co-Principal Investigator of the UNC Evaluation of the Jobs to Careers Program with Thomas R. Konrad. In this project, her team serves as the national evaluation team for 17 grantee sites funded to implement work-based learning and promote career advancement for frontline health and health care workers. She also serves as Co-Principal Investigator on the Workforce Issues in Library and Information Science 2 project (with Joanne Gard Marshall) and the Associate Director of the WIN A STEP UP project (with Thomas R. Konrad).

Areas of Interest in Aging

Jennifer's primary interest is in issues related to workforce aging including retention, job quality, career development and carework. Specifically, with a sociological lens, she is interested in the intersection of work, aging, gender and health.
