Brief Bio

Dr. Ivey graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the UNC School of Pharmacy in 2004. She completed postgraduate residency training in Geriatrics at the UNC School of Pharmacy/UNC Hospitals in 2005. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Pharmacy Practice at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy. She also serves at the Geriatric Clinical Pharmacist for the UNC Division of Geriatric Medicine. She also provides medication management services to the Orange County community through her role in the Orange County Department on Aging's Aging Transition Program. Her research experience includes various collaborations with interdisciplinary professionals in the aging field in various settings (home, assisted living setting) that aim to improve the quality of medication use in older adults.
