Dr. Carol Giuliani is a Professor in the Division of Physical Therapy and Director of the Doctoral Program in Human Movement Science. She is also a Senior Research Scientist at the UNC Institute on Aging and the Faculty Liaison for Allied Health for the Interdisciplinary Certificate in Aging.
Identifying older adults at risk for fall and functional decline; developing and testing the effects of community-based interventions for falls prevention in older adults; improving arm control in people with stroke. She also teaching a graduate seminar course on Falls Risk and Interventions in the Spring semester.
