Dr. Watson is a geriatric psychiatrist whose responsibilities include clinical supervision of medical students and residents in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, as well as private nursing home consultation. Her research focuses on rational medication prescribing in the elderly, and the recognition and management of depression and dementia in community settings. As a consultant on psychiatric issues facing the elderly both locally and nationally, she is involved in interdisciplinary efforts to advance the accessibility and quality of care for all older adults.
